SUBSTANCE Tadalafil ,

Vidalista-2.5, produced by Centurion Laboratories, contains 2.5mg of Tadalafil as its active ingredient. This medication acts by relaxing the smooth muscles in the walls of blood vessels, thereby enhancing blood circulation to certain areas of the body. This mechanism makes it effective for treating erectile dysfunction in men. Additionally, Vidalista-2.5 is utilized to alleviate symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia and to enhance exercise capacity in individuals suffering from pulmonary arterial hypertension.

This medication is classified as a PDE5 inhibitor. It addresses erectile dysfunction by blocking the action of PDE5, which prevents the degradation of cGMP in the penis. Elevated cGMP levels lead to smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow, facilitating an erection. Vidalista assists men in achieving and sustaining erections during sexual stimulation; however, it does not cure erectile dysfunction or boost sexual desire. It is also important to note that this drug does not prevent pregnancy or protect against sexually transmitted infections.

Dosage

The appropriate dosage of Vidalista-2.5 will depend on various factors, including the medical condition being treated, the patient's age, and the specific strength of the drug. A healthcare provider will establish the correct dosage for each individual.

Vidalista-2.5 should be taken orally, swallowed whole with a full glass of water, and can be taken with or without food. It may be administered either on a daily basis or as needed. For those using it as needed for erectile dysfunction, the typical adult dose is 10mg taken once, not exceeding one dose within a 24-hour period. It is recommended that a tablet be taken 30 minutes before anticipated sexual activity.

For daily use, the suggested adult dose is 2.5mg once daily, taken at the same time every day, regardless of when sexual activity may occur. For individuals treating both erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia, a daily dose of 5mg is recommended, also taken at the same time daily. If a dose is missed, it should be taken as soon as remembered unless it's nearly time for the next dose; in that case, the missed dose should be skipped, and the regular dosing schedule resumed. Doubling the dose to compensate for a missed one is not advised, and the maximum recommended dose is one tablet per day.

A healthcare provider may adjust the dose based on the patient's response to treatment.

Contraindications

Vidalista-2.5 should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to Tadalafil or any of the inactive ingredients in the tablet. It is also contraindicated with medications for pulmonary arterial hypertension, such as Riociguat. The use of nitrate medications, including those for heart issues and recreational drugs, is prohibited as it could lead to a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Men advised to avoid sexual activity for health reasons should not use Vidalista-2.5.
