Ultima-Proviron is often regarded as one of the most underrated substances in a bodybuilder’s toolkit. Rather than being a typical anti-estrogen, Ultima-Proviron, which contains Mesterolone as its active ingredient, is actually an anabolic steroid derived from dihydrotestosterone. The molecular structure of Mesterolone closely resembles that of Methenolone, with the distinction between the two being somewhat akin to the differences between men and women.

While Ultima-Proviron is primarily classified as an aromatase inhibitor, it can also act as a partial blocker of estrogen receptors, though this secondary effect is not its main function. This dual nature contributes to the uniqueness of Ultima-Proviron, which offers a range of beneficial properties. Notably, it can elevate the levels of free testosterone in the bloodstream by binding to sex hormone-binding globulin, thus decreasing the latter's activity.

Elevating free testosterone levels is undoubtedly advantageous. As a result, many athletes incorporate Ultima-Proviron for 5-7 days midway through their anabolic steroid cycles. However, some researchers categorize Mesterolone as an anti-androgen, suggesting that it might not be suitable for use during anabolic steroid cycles; this perspective may not be entirely accurate.

In pre-competition preparation, Ultima-Proviron is utilized to enhance muscle hardness and definition, making it popular among actors and models looking to accentuate their muscle tone before shoots. Additionally, an intriguing effect of Ultima-Proviron is its capacity to significantly boost libido in men, often leading to spontaneous erections. This makes it particularly useful alongside substances that tend to diminish libido, such as Trenbolone, Nandrolone, Norethandrolone, and Ethylestrenol. However, using Ultima-Proviron alone for recovery is not optimal; it tends to yield the best results when used in conjunction with Tamoxifen (Nolvadex) or Clomiphene (Clomid).

Recommended daily dosages for Ultima-Proviron range from 25 to 100 mg, equivalent to 1 to 4 tablets.
