Rimobolan is the injectable variant, formulated as an ester of Methenolone Enanthate, with a prolonged action lasting around two weeks due to its gradual release from muscle tissue into the bloodstream. Its action duration is similar to that of Testosterone Enanthate, but one downside is that the injections can be painful.

The anabolic effects of Rimobolan are relatively mild and can be likened to those of Deca, making it primarily popular during cutting cycles where the focus is on preserving muscle rather than building it. Methenolone tends to exhibit a minimal rollback phenomenon; however, athletes may feel dissatisfied with results from a cycle solely using Rimobolan if their goal was to gain muscle mass.

Rimobolan has a slight impact on testosterone production, being less potent than testosterone and Nandrolone. Research indicates that a 40 mg (oral) dose of Rimobolan can suppress testosterone levels by 50%. Significant decreases in natural testosterone production typically occur only with prolonged cycles at high doses. In such cases, using gonadotropin during the cycle is essential to prevent testicular atrophy. Due to its low androgenic effects, Rimobolan rarely leads to baldness.
