This formulation is akin to PHARMA TEST 100. It is ester-free and serves as a pre-workout stimulant. The primary distinction from PHARMA TEST 100 lies in the carrier; here, we utilize grape seed oil (consistent with all our injectable products) rather than a water suspension. Consequently, the effects of the oil-based Pharmatest 100 may extend slightly longer compared to the original Pharmatest 100, though not significantly.

Synthetic testosterone was developed in 1935 by German biochemist Adolf Butenandt and Swiss chemist Leopold Ruzicka, both of whom were awarded the Nobel Prize for their contributions.

Testosterone is the main male sexual hormone, directly influencing the development of the testicles and prostate, and significantly contributing to muscle tissue growth, bone density, and strength. Additionally, testosterone plays a crucial role in numerous bodily functions including overall health, well-being, enhanced libido, energy levels, immune response, prevention of osteoporosis (bone density loss), and potential heart disease protection. Higher testosterone levels in older men have been linked to improvements in various factors believed to reduce cardiovascular disease risk, such as increased lean body mass, reduced visceral fat, lowered total cholesterol, and better glucose control. It is not only a determinant of gender differences but also regulates thromboxane A2 receptor populations on megakaryocytes and platelets, thus affecting platelet aggregation. Furthermore, testosterone influences behavior, mood, and romantic relationships, and can even affect career choices. Research indicates that attention, memory, and spatial abilities are key cognitive functions influenced by testosterone. Initial evidence suggests that low testosterone levels may be a risk factor for cognitive decline and potentially for Alzheimer’s disease, which supports testosterone's use in anti-aging therapies within longevity medicine.

Testosterone is particularly favored by athletes for its capacity to significantly enhance muscle mass and strength. Being a naturally occurring hormone, it remains the most commonly used anabolic steroid and is typically the foundation of most cycles and stacks.

In bodybuilding, testosterone is generally administered as an injectable ester or suspension due to poor oral bioavailability and the impracticality of high-dose transdermal or sublingual delivery methods. All forms of testosterone are fundamentally similar: the active compound testosterone combined with an ester that dictates the release time and duration of the compound's activity. Simply put, long esters slowly release the active agent into the bloodstream, maintaining stable hormone levels over an extended period (depending on the specific ester) without causing spikes.

It is important to note that in men, roughly 5% of testosterone is converted through 5α-reduction into a more potent androgen known as dihydrotestosterone (DHT), or androstanolone. Additionally, about 0.3% of testosterone is transformed into estradiol (the primary female sex hormone) via aromatase, an enzyme found in the brain, liver, and adipose tissue. Therefore, it is essential to take precautions to mitigate potential side effects. We recommend conducting blood tests and, if necessary, using aromatase inhibitors during cycles (preferably anastrozole) and SERMs (such as clomifene or toremifene) during post-cycle therapy (PCT).
