How to Use Cabaser
Cabaser and Dostinex contain the same active ingredient, Cabergoline, with the only difference being that Dostinex has 0.5 mg per tablet while Cabaser contains 1 mg per tablet. The initial recommended dose is 0.25 mg taken twice weekly. This can be increased by 0.25 mg every four weeks as necessary, depending on prolactin levels, up to a maximum of 1 mg taken twice weekly. If you have liver problems, lung disease, cardiovascular issues, Raynaud's syndrome, stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, a history of mental health conditions, or low blood pressure, it is crucial to consult your doctor.
The medication should be taken based on a physician's prescription. It is typically advised to take it once a day, following the doctor’s recommendations. The standard dosage can be as much as 1 mg per day, but a doctor may adjust this to between 2 to 3 mg per day according to the individual’s condition.
