Somatropine - 191 Amino Acid

Human Growth Hormone (HGH), also referred to as somatotropin or somatropin, is a peptide hormone that promotes growth, cell reproduction, and regeneration in humans and various other animals. It acts as a mitogen, which means it specifically targets certain types of cells. HGH is a single-chain polypeptide composed of 191 amino acids. It is produced, stored, and released by somatotropic cells located in the lateral wings of the anterior pituitary gland. The secretion of Human Growth Hormone is influenced by several factors, including diet and physical activity.
HGH encourages body cells to enlarge and to divide more rapidly than normal. Additionally, it facilitates the transport of amino acids across cell membranes and boosts the rate at which cells convert these amino acids into proteins. This results in an anabolic effect, promoting muscle growth. HGH also enables cells to reduce their typical carbohydrate use while increasing the utilization of fats. Research indicates that fat loss and gains in lean mass can occur even at a low dose of 0.028 IU/kg/day over 24 weeks. Furthermore, HGH stimulates the production of IGF-1.
In medicine, HGH is utilized to address growth disorders in children and deficiencies in adult growth hormone levels. Research consistently shows that modulating HGH can lead to various beneficial effects, including:
Numerous studies, particularly involving individuals with HGH deficiencies, indicate that HGH plays a significant role in mental and emotional well-being, as well as sustaining high energy levels. Adults with HGH deficiencies often experience higher rates of depression compared to those without.
Research has also explored HGH's effects on cognitive function, including learning and memory, suggesting that it may enhance cognitive abilities and could be beneficial for patients suffering from cognitive deficits due to HGH deficiency.
As an anabolic agent, HGH has been misused in sports since at least 1982. Athletes often experience substantial weight and muscle gains with HGH, although it is less effective for increasing strength. Competitors in the '70s and '80s began to exhibit a more polished and sculpted muscle appearance, reminiscent of classical sculptures. It can be reasonably suggested that these athletes were not supplementing their regimen with extra cardio or consuming significantly more lean protein.
HGH tends to be more effective and exhibits favorable qualities when stacked with steroid cycles rather than when used alone. Consequently, it is often considered suitable for cutting cycles that aim to achieve lean muscle and reduce fat.
