Klomen, known commercially as Clomiphene Citrate, is a synthetic estrogen typically prescribed to women facing challenges in conceiving. In men, Klomen enhances the levels of hormones that stimulate the testes by directly affecting the pituitary gland, which boosts the body's natural testosterone production.

For athletes, this can be highly beneficial because, after a steroid cycle, testosterone levels tend to drop significantly. When the athlete discontinue the medication, their testosterone levels may plummet, resulting in a notable loss of muscle mass and volume. Research indicates that taking Klomen at a dosage of 50-100 mg daily, either in the morning or evening after meals, for two weeks or longer can help restore normal testosterone production.

While using Klomen, testosterone levels increase, and it also serves as an effective anti-estrogen. Many athletes may experience an excess of estrogen after completing their cycle, which can lead to gynecomastia due to high estrogen levels in combination with low testosterone. Klomen addresses both issues by blocking the adverse effects of estrogen while raising the body's natural testosterone levels.
