Provixin is often regarded as one of the most underrated substances in a bodybuilder's toolkit. This compound is not a traditional anti-estrogen; it is, in fact, an anabolic steroid known as Mesterolone, derived from dihydrotestosterone. Structurally, the Mesterolone molecule resembles Methenolone closely, with the variation between the two being similar to that between males and females.
While it is commonly classified as an aromatase inhibitor, the term "mostly" is used because Provixin also acts as a partial blocker of estrogen receptors, although this effect is not predominant. This dual functionality characterizes Provixin’s unique nature, which offers various beneficial properties. One notable feature is its capability to boost the level of free testosterone in the bloodstream by binding to sex hormone-binding globulin, thereby decreasing its overall activity.
An elevated level of free testosterone is highly advantageous. Because of this effect, numerous athletes incorporate Provixin for a period of 5-7 days midway through their anabolic steroid cycles. Some experts classify Mesterolone primarily as an anti-androgen, suggesting it should not be utilized alongside anabolic steroids, a view that may not be entirely accurate.
Provixin is also used in pre-competition preparations to enhance muscle hardness and definition, making it a popular choice among actors and models aiming to highlight their muscular appearance before photo shoots. Additionally, Provixin significantly boosts libido in men, often resulting in spontaneous erections, making it especially useful when paired with substances known to decrease libido (such as Trenbolone, Nandrolone, Norethandrolone, or Ethylestrenol). However, using Provixin during recovery alone may not be entirely justified; it is most effective when combined with Tamoxifen (Nolvadex) or Clomiphene (Clomid).
