Deca-Durabolin is a widely used injectable anabolic steroid, particularly popular in weightlifting and bodybuilding. Its active ingredient is Nandrolone Decanoate, which is renowned for its significant anabolic properties that promote muscle gain while exhibiting a low risk of side effects.

Manufactured by Beligas, Deca-Durabolin is a long-acting steroid. It features a mild androgenic effect (about 30%) coupled with a relatively strong anabolic activity (150% in comparison to testosterone). The half-life of its active component typically spans at least two weeks.

Since its introduction in the 1960s, steroids containing nandrolone have been available for purchase. Deca-Durabolin comes in two forms: Nandrolone Decanoate and Nandrolone Phenylpropionate. Boasting a solid safety profile and minimal side effects, this anabolic steroid has established itself as a staple in muscle-building for over fifty years. Beyond athletics and bodybuilding, Deca-Durabolin finds medical applications in treating serious injuries, anemia, growth deficiencies from hormone shortages, and even as a precaution against breast cancer in women.

Due to its low androgenic activity, Deca-Durabolin cycles typically do not produce common side effects such as hair loss, excessive body fat, acne, or high blood pressure. Additionally, estrogen-related side effects like gynecomastia and water retention are almost entirely avoided, as studies indicate that Deca-Durabolin is five times less likely to convert to estrogen compared to testosterone. For men, the suggested dosage is 200 mg per week, while women should limit their intake to 50-100 mg every 1-4 weeks. Typical cycle durations range from 8 to 10 weeks, and if extending beyond this, the inclusion of human chorionic gonadotropin is necessary.

To mitigate the progesterone activity of Deca-Durabolin, Dostinex should be added to the regimen starting in the second week (1.25 mg twice daily), continuing for 2-3 weeks post the final injection. Clomid may be utilized in the last week of the Deca-Durabolin cycle, tapering off over a period of 2-4 weeks at a dosage of 50-100 mg.

To address some side effects linked with solo Deca-Durabolin cycles (such as reduced libido and testosterone suppression), it is often advised to pair it with Testosterone. The ideal regimen involves using Deca-Durabolin at 200-300 mg per week alongside testosterone at a dose of 500 mg per week.
