Its chemical structure closely resembles that of Masteron (Drostanolone), with the main distinction being the presence of a 17 alpha-methyl group, a modification that enhances its bioavailability when taken orally.

Unlike many steroids that undergo significant changes due to 17 alpha-alkylation, this is not the case here. Similar to its parent compound Drostanolone, Pro-Superdrol does not cause aromatization, meaning it does not create estrogen-related side effects. Furthermore, both steroids maintain a very favorable anabolic to androgenic effect ratio.

Laboratory studies indicate that Pro-Superdrol's anabolic potency is four times greater than that of oral Methyltestosterone, with a 20:1 ratio of androgenic to anabolic effects. In tests involving Masteron, it proved to be as effective an anabolic agent as Testosterone, but with only 25-40% of the androgenic effects. Although it is a very effective anabolic steroid, its anabolic-to-androgenic ratio is generally regarded as 3:1 instead of 20:1.

For men, an effective starting dose of Pro-Superdrol typically ranges from 10-20 mg per day. At this dosage, users can expect significant anabolic effects that are often accompanied by fat loss and enhanced muscle definition. However, gains of 10-15 kg are unlikely, with realistic gains expected to be around 5-7 kg of quality weight when used alone.
